Introduction

This page details how the user can set up their sensors in order to make successful transactions to the Blockchain

Setup

Assigning sensors

After creating a Spot or a Plain Project, the user can assign sensors to these entities.

The first step is to find the id of the sensor the user wants to assign to a specific Spot or Plain Project, then, they can assign the specific sensor to the entity the want it to be assigned to.

More information about finding the id of any user sensor in Sensors.

When a sensor is assigned to an entity (this being either a Spot o a Plain Project), the user can use the id of that newly created relationship and assign an identity to that relationship.

Assigning identities

Identities associate a sensor from a Spot or Plain Project to a specific identifier the user provides, such as the MAC address of a specific sensor.

When all of the sensors inside a Plain Project or Deployment have been successfully assigned an identity, the user can create an infrastructure for the aforementioned Plain project or Deployment, which in turn allows the contained sensors to upload data through Airtrace and to the Blockchain.

More information on creating and assigning Identities in Identities.

Generating the infrastructure

The user can generate a new infrastructure whenever all of the sensors inside a Deployment or Plain Project have been assigned identities, the infrastructure endpoint provides a series of links to the user, through which the sensors may upload the data that Airtrace will Blockchainize.

The infrastructure with which the sensors will interact can be set to use any of the protocols supported by airtrace, which are listed in the page Clients.
